RESIDENTIAL AND INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION
residential and industrial buildings in Murcia and Alicante
In southern Spain, the most practical and effective approach to residential construction is the Passivhaus standard.
Even more advanced is the zero-energy house, which fully covers its external energy needs through self-generated power – for example, from photovoltaic systems. This concept should serve as the foundation for any forward-thinking and responsible architectural planning in the region.
For over 25 years, I have been working in residential construction and large-scale industrial energy projects – including thermosolar power plants – developing a deep understanding of how technology influences the built environment.
In sustainable architecture, especially in Passivhaus and zero-energy buildings, the intelligent use of technology is key. When thoughtfully applied, it adds real value for users, conserves resources, protects the environment, and facilitates the integration of renewable energy systems.
Physics is universal – regulations are not.
While the laws of physics apply everywhere, safety and hygiene regulations vary significantly from country to country. With many years of experience in international planning teams both in Germany and abroad, I offer targeted support in adapting your engineering solutions to Spanish building codes and local regulations.
As a German architect based in southern Spain, with hands-on building experience in both Germany and Spain, I also assist Spanish engineers and companies aiming to develop projects in Germany – bridging the gap between technical standards and legal frameworks across borders.
